Why is service on a Board important to you?
Serving on the HSH Board is a rewarding opportunity to give back and collaboratively work with an impressive group of fellow trustees to make a difference and help support an important personal cause (education).
What drew you to HSH?
HSH felt like a special community from day one. The inclusive and nurturing learning environment was apparent at all levels including Ms. Ilise, HSH leadership team, faculty, parents and students.
Michael Heid is Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Alliant Insurance Services. He has leadership and client executive responsibilities for the company’s nationwide Real Estate and Corporate Private Equity partnerships.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California (USC) and a master’s degree in corporate finance from the USC Marshall School of Business. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designations.
In the community, Michael serves on the USC Risk Management Program Advisory Council, Board of Managers for Ketchum-Downtown Los Angeles YMCA, Hollywood Schoolhouse Board of Trustees and is a member of the Young Literati Library Foundation of Los Angeles.
Michael lives in Hancock Park with his wife Jaime and daughter Colette, a fifth grader at HSH.
