Why is service on a Board important to you?
Being a board member allows me to help uphold the school's mission and values while directly supporting and providing guidance to Ilise and her team in the operations and goals of HSH.
What drew you to HSH?
I was drawn to the focus on "fearless curiosity" and a balanced curriculum which aligns with a commitment to developing well-rounded students who are not only academically strong but also encouraged to be artistic thinkers and socially conscious.
Katie O'Connell Marsh an executive in the global television industry with over two decades of experience. She has served as CEO of independent television studios, including Gaumont Television and Platform One Media, where she was a leader in successfully crafting models for producing, selling, and distributing independent television content worldwide.
As an Executive Producer, Katie has been involved in numerous critically acclaimed series, including the recently Emmy-nominated "Palm Royale" starring Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, and Carol Burnett. Her impressive portfolio also includes hit shows like "Narcos," "Hannibal," "Invasion," "American Rust," and "Orphan Black: Echoes".
Prior to her role as CEO, Katie held senior executive positions at Imagine Television and NBC, where she played a key role in developing award-winning series such as "Arrested Development" and "30 Rock".
In 2019, as Founder/Chairwoman Katie oversaw the sale of Platform One Media to Boat Rocker Media, where she became Vice Chair.
Her contributions to the industry have been widely recognized, earning her a place in Variety's Women's Impact Report and The Hollywood Reporter's Top 100 Power Women in Entertainment.
